7. I think this is the time we should face up to what this country really is

Because it looks nothing like what we thought it was. The Rubicon was crossed when the Supremes selecting Bush over the Constitution. We just didn't know it at the time because we thought our Rule of Law and our Checks and Balances would automatically rectify it. When that didn't happen it emboldened Bush to go to two wars and start shoveling the money out of the pockets of the middle class to his Haves and Have Mores base who took the jobs and sent them to poor nations so they could get even more money. We've been bleeding out for ten years.

I think it's too late now. We've probably already crossed the point of no return. We need to face facts.
