I have just run out of things to say and things to think about..I just don't care!

I know the 2012 Presidential will be gearing up.. Palin making hints.. Pawlenty in the background .. Romney of course, getting ready to try and do another end run.

And you know what, I just don't care.

Is that not the oddest thing??.. I just do not care. Usually, what the republicans choose to run, fascinates me no end.

What the republicans are planning to run are so bland, milquetoast, wonder bread lite types, that I could care less.

They have ceased to be a party of any ideas, even the bad ones.

Maybe that tea party movement, sort of did them in.

And the tea party will have to fold into the republican mold in Washington.. or just totally undo that party, till it no longer exists.


Thank GOD for the upcoming holidays.. Hopefully our lame duck congress, can get through DADT and the middle class cuts, letting the ubers return to paying the Clinton year tax rate.

They are all basically cut out of the same cloth. But unfortunately it is a crazy cloth.
Their 'ideas' are all basically the same as are their view of problems and proposed solutions. That may be what makes them seem so bland. When you hear the same thing over and over and over we tend to take it as common. Common these folks are not.
Each and every one is dangerous to poor and average Americans of all stripe. The ideas and solutions they put forth are radical and will exacerbate all the problems that we identify a hundredfold.

Look at what Pawlenty has done to Minnesota. Bankrupt beyond imagination. See what Palin did to Alaska . On and on we could list one then another, look at their record and get just a glimpse of how badly theu will screw up America.

It's a very strange and surreal world of politics, totally disconnected from reality. I'd love to disconnect myself from it, but feel that i have a responsibility, as a citizen to keep myself informed. DU is helpful for doing that. But I'd love to put the whole damn lot of them, in Washington (edited to add, and the candidate clowns in Alaska, etc..), on 'ignore' ....
