Really! Its become a pattern. Van Jones. Shirley Sharrod. The WH seems to live in fear of criticism from Roger Ailes' RWbots.

If anything gets past airport security it will be 24/7 Obama bashing for months on FOX/wehateObama/NEWS. The Republicans will go even MORE crazy than they already are.

So we get this: More invasive searches at the airport so that there is no chance that even the most amateur nincompoop, and that is what they have been recently, can smuggle a stale Cracker Jack on board much less a wet Chinese fire cracker.

As I see it we have on one hand a network who would dance a little happy dance over the bodies of innocent American citizens if a bomb did go off on a plane just because it would make the President look bad and a President and staff that checks the wind to see if Beck/Hannity/Ailes will bash them the next day.

The President and staff really need to stand up and instill a sense of courage and unity in the American people and fight the fear mongers.

Mind you it's nothing like if Sacha or Malia were caught using profanity on Facebook. That would mean six months of screeching from Laura Ingraham.

4. Actions speak louder than...sorry what did you say again?
I didn't mean to be dismissive. I just like turning cliches upended. Still there is a pattern that I find troubling.

Some people's words evidently speak louder than reality.

All perspective on the TSA has been lost. People fly everyday and aren't subject to pat downs. Most of those who are set of the scanner.

Outrage is fine, but when everyone freaks out at everything, it's hard to tell what's real anymore. Cases in point: the TSA, censoring the Internet and advocating the collapse of the economy.

The stupid burns.

5. Thinking something is destructive certainly does not preclude fear.
