6. I don't see that as a consequence of a primary challenge, unless the challenger is
just another right-of-center DLC centrist. If the challenger is a true Liberal/Progressive who is not afraid to be outspoken, then I do not see the outcome you predict.

18. Certain actions have certain consequences. The only way to look at what might happen
in a primary challenge is to draw upon previous attempts. It does not seemed to have worked well in the past for either Dems or Repubs. It sure didn't help Ford when Reagan ran against him. Buchanan did not help Poppy Bush in 1992. Lots of evidence to show it is not helpful. Why deny this?

challenge to Obama and if you notice on DU, many Dems. think there SHOULD be one. The poll said 40-something% of DEMS. said there should be.
