Palin and Black Friday
I went to the local WalMart Thursday night through the night, not to purchase anything but more to watch the spectacle. It is fascinating to watch the idiots fight over $3 Rubbermaid or $2 Towels. I know, it is a weird fascination watching people act like animals.

Anyway, I know enough of the people at the local WalMart that they allow me a good vantage point to watch the stampede.

One of the items on the Black Friday specials was Sarah Palin's new book along with bu$h's new book. When the smoke had all cleared and the store was left in shambles by rude ignorant people. All the books by Sarah Palin were still stacked where they were at the beginning of the night.

I confirmed with Management, not one Palin book was sold.

2. Well, chances are not one book of ANY kind was sold
But it is good to know that Wally World shoppers aren't buying Palin books.

I go in our local Mal Wart once a year in early September to buy shotgun shells and I always stop by the somewhat abbreviated book department. Invariably I'm stunned by the vast array of religious (jesus) books they stock.

3. In my best Chris Matthews voice -- HA!!
If you're at all interested in what Snowdrift Snooki (I LOVE this new name) has to say in this book, AKMuckraker at the Mudflats is reading it and blogging about it with commentary here: http://www.themudflats.net/ No doubt a lot less painful that trying to read the damn thing yourself. Report on Chapter 1?

OK, I’m saying it flat out. This chapter was crap. It was like a crap sandwich, only the bread was also crap. Crap on crap with a side of crap.

5. Books such as this don't become bestsellers through purchases at Wal Mart
Conservative organizations purchase them in huge bulk to ensure their bestseller status. It's a charade that "regular people" are buying these books.
