I Would Like President Obama To Come To My House For A Visit
Edited on Mon Nov-29-10 03:51 PM by Dinger
A fireside chat if you will. Here is a short video of our first fire of the season. Mr. Dinger is sitting by the fireplace. A small log home in northcentral Wisconsin.

I would like to talk to him about his education plan. I would like MadFloridian here to, as well as Diane Ravitch, and also Dennis VanRoekel and Randi Weingarten,

I know this post comes across as "out there," but please allow me to dream, if only briefly. I'd really like this to happen, and no, Arne Duncan isn't invited.

2. Randi Weingarten has gotten somewhat of a bad rap
Contrary to what people have been saying, she is not anti-reform. In fact, she is not even opposed to charter schools, as long as the teachers have the right to unionize and due process.

3. Not at all
Go ahead and send out invitations. I'll sign a petition.

4. You'd have a lot better shot if your name was Michael Bloomberg.

For some weird reason Mr. Obama just can't seem to resist the temptation to squeeze the multi-billionaire "education expert" into every golf vacation, every NY visit.

What is it with those two?

If Obama wants to find out what NYC public schools are really about ( which, of course, he doesn't) all he has do is call.

You be sure and tell him, now.

5. If you wanted an honest conversation, you'd invite Duncan too
Just sayin'...
