25. Same here, if he is running -- I want him primaried out or for him to gracefully bow out
Pres. Obama has been such a nightmare as a Democrat. He would have been a wonderful center-right Republican, which is how he governs.

Primary Obama out, get a real Democrat running and I will vote for that man or woman with gusto.

If Obama runs I will honestly have to weigh the benefit of having a center-right Republican in office versus whoever the GOP is pushing.

37. Yeah that's a real tough choice. Palin, Huckabee, Romney, Newt, Bush, McDonnell
etc. etc. vs. Obama. Oh wait, wait, maybe you like Nader? He's dreamy.

4. There is no conceivable Republican I would vote for
In this or any election from now until the end of time. I am more of an Anti-Republican than a Democrat.

Why do so many people keep asking? Who's the next great progressive hope and why would we want to help the Republicans get back in the WH again so soon?

41. Same here
I'll vote 3rd party if he doesn't change his education policies. Can't vote republican and can't stay home.

My vote doesn't matter anyway. I live in red state hell; my state hasn't voted for the Dem prez since 1964.

16. Who the hell else would I vote for?
No way I'd ever even think of voting for any of the republicans that appear to be running and there is no viable third option on the horizon. At least none that would actually appeal to a Democrat.

17. With The Latest WH Proposal Of Federal Pay Freeze
It seems to be that Obama has concluded that the "stimulus" has failed the economy and now it is budget "gutting" that he wants to try. IMHO he is abandoning any and all progressive pretenses. Obama and the Democrats are going to be wiped out since the economy will be nowhere near recovery and people are going to be even angrier than they are now. The Democratic Party will be in the same position like Britain's Liberal Democrats - total rejection by the electorate - if they continue this way.

22. IF he's the nominee...maybe I will vote for him
but surrendering to the tea baggers over the next 2 years will more likely make me just stay home in 2012. If he fights them then I will donate my vote, my time and my money.

27. AGAIN with this question. You need to be clear:
Primary or GE?

If Obama's the candidate in the GE and people are saying "no", then to hell with 'em.
