I even watched a tour of the White House from Laura Bush late last year. It was awesome and in HD!

I love the White House at Christmas!

I'm a bit of a White House history buff. I caught the bug when Jackie Kennedy did her White House tour after her extensive redecorating.

I was a little girl and sat memorized, my face just inches in front of my parents black and white TV. We lived in a logging shack in the woods. No indoor plumbing, an outhouse, and a wood stove. It was a thrilling experience for me to actually see the inside of the White House. Jackie was so beautiful, and spoke in a very soft voice.

11. Why Does Oprah Have To Lead This Christmas Tour?

Is she a member of the first family? I would have liked it a lot better if the President and his wife gave a tour and shared some special memories. President Obama doesn't need Oprah's help to do that.

13. HGTV has done it for 8 years

The Obamas managed to get it on the networks in primetime. If it took Oprah to do that, good for them. The country coming together to enjoy the holidays at the White House is an important part of healing.

And the Discovery Channel about the White House. I think it's neat to get a look into the White House during the Holiday Season.
