Willing to stick to his guns. Not giving a shit what the centrist assholes and right wingers said. Not interested in making compromises and trying to make everyone happy.
Damn...that would be a fierce advocate.

We need sensible progressives, not inflexible, vengeful pricks.

2. Any Senator has the capacity to grandstand. Lieberman just has the luck |
|
to sit on the filibuster pivot.

3. If the left had ONE more guy like Sherrod Brown.... |
|
.... and throw in ONE more Bernie Sanders for good measure, then what Lieberman did or thought wouldn't matter.

.... if there were 62 Dems in the caucus....... lol, then we'd only have to worry about Landrieu and Lincoln. :)

6. Willing to stick to his guns? That made me laugh. Joe changed so hard to get elected last time here. |
|
He has become the Republican Senator from CT, just an independent in name only. He never "stuck to his guns". He is simply reaching his hand out to the insurance companies in Hartford and begging for help because 2012 may not be so easy for him now that most Dems in CT dislike him.
