the winner will undoubtedly be Martha Coakley. I presume that she supports a at least a public option. THAT would get us a vote closer to 60, and all we have to do is wait until january.

I think waiting turns out to be a good idea in this case. we will get a better bill.

why does congress move at a snails pace? What this healthcare debacle has shown me is that congress is totally inept. I am truly amazed at the laser beam outrage at the President but yet the congress is where everything goes to die. The Dems are a just a collection of broken parts, all have got their own agendas. It truly amazes me how many people sing Kucinich’s praise but yet he has not been able to convince too many of his colleagues to vote his way. Same goes for Feingold who also seems to be a favorite among people here. If these two are such great leaders how come not too many of their colleagues are following them? The blame is with congress; at this rate the President will be lucky to get a small fraction of his agenda thru by the end of his first term.
