Or nearly always. . . . I'll bet there was a yet unlinked memo to the effect tha"
Obamacare" was to be their operative term.

I know the Tea Party gatherings and literature used it, but why only that on Fox???

And what do other outlets refer to it as?

1. Part of the problem is that the Obama admin never came up with a better name for it..
... which speaks to the over all messaging problem.

6. It's the "Job Killing" Obamacare that's pure Luntz.
Funny how every time the GOP mentions the healthcare bill it's now got the "Job Killing" preface.

4. Republicans have mastered the art of deprecation.
The term "Obamacare" is another example of how they do it. nt

5. If Democrats had consistently called Iraq "Bushwar", we probably wouldn't be there.
The repugs have message discipline, and it rubs off like stink onto anything that comes in contact with it.

We should try it, because it works.

Even NBC Nightly News anchor Brian "Plain Vanilla" Williams used the term consistently last night when talking to Boner the Orangeman.

8. Words Matter. Frank Luntz has focussed group every phrase
feeding the GOP and Fox the exact phrase to be impactful.

GOP and Fox realized they must stay united and repeat
the phrases over and over until they are carved permanently
onto the American Brain. Daily Talking Points.

10. They use it because it polls badly.
People hear "Obamacare" and react negatively.

14. It's going to backfire
When all the healthcare reforms kick in and people's lives and medical coverage improves. Their only chance is to try and tie it in to the current recession and kill it before it can be fully implemented, which they won't be able to do.
