P.S. The Don't Ask Don't Tell story that pisses me off the most involved a Marine who got fed up with all of the homophobia that he had to endure and then proceeded to beat the fuck out of one of his tormentors after being provoked at a bar. After the fact, he said, "How does it feel to get your ass beat by a faggot?"

He was dismissed from the Marines, not because of the brawl, but because he admitted to being homosexual.

When the Commandant of the Marine Corps tells his marines they will respect gay marines because of the repeal of DADT, they will goddamn do it whether they like it or not. The reality is that most people know gay and lesbian soldiers, sailors and marines and they work with them in spite of their sexual preference because they are good at what they do.
