In denouncing health care bill, crafty Dean lays foundation to challenge Obama in 2012
Sure, the 2012 campaign is a long way off, but what Dr. Howard Dean did today shows great foresight: By calling the health care bill in the Senate by its true name, he has positioned himself as the logical Democratic alternative to Obama in 2012 should the need arise. At this rate, it just might. More at:

23. And when he got into the WH, he'd face the same problems
And the screaming of betrayal would start by August of 2013.

Doubtful he would ride the delusion of bipartisanship

6. Dean has not said he wants to run for President
This is pure speculation. Like those who swore Gore would run in 2008.

Politics is like four-dimensional chess; you have to factor in time-space. Or space-time, for that matter.

I am just saying that Dean's harsh words for this ridiculous health care bill put him in a position to challenge Obama from the left if it seems like that is what the country needs at the time. RFK challenged LBJ in '68 and likely would have been elected president if not for that horrible night in L.A. Ted Kennedy challenged Carter in 1980, ran an awful campaign and still won something like 1,100 delegates to Carter's 2,100. Pat Buchanan challenged the first George Bush in 1992 and almost won the NH primary. All I am saying is that at this point is that Dean is the most likely Democrat to take on that role if the need arises. Unless Obama starts getting back to the values that got him elected, the need is likely to arise.

25. By that standard of logic, half the posters here are also running.
This blog post is made-up, says nothing, and weasels out of its thesis with "only time will tell."
