Prominent names dip toes in 2012 race
A handful of prominent Republicans are considering jumping into the presidential race, sensing a void in a field that has recently lost several contenders.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Friday that he was considering a White House run after months of denying any interest in the race. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani heads back to New Hampshire in the coming days, as allies say he is considering another presidential campaign.

Adding more uncertainty to the field, former New York Gov. George Pataki is also mulling whether to seek the GOP nomination, a spokesman said.

4. Pataki? Yeah, a Northeast Republican has a REAL shot at the nomination.
Also I would love to see Perry try and run. He wouldn't even win his own state.
