Special Delivery: Romney Sends Leftover Pizza To Obama’s Campaign HQ
by Jon Terbush, Talking Points Memo

Mitt Romney took his presidential campaign to the next level on Thursday, eschewing mud slinging to instead engage in the far more delicious smear tactic of pizza slinging.

You know that old prank where you send a bunch of pizzas to someone who never ordered them? Well that's sort of what Mitt Romney did during a campaign stop in Chicago, sending the leftovers from his meal to Obama's campaign headquarters.

Romney announced his prank via Twitter, complete with a picture of a delivery guy about to set off with the pies.

Great deep dish at @ginoseast. Sending the extra slices to @barackobama and his Chicago HQ team

3. Assuming the pizzas were fresh and at least warm....
I'm pretty sure they were appreciated at Obama HQ. It's not really a "prank" when you give free pizza to people who are working hard and feeling hungry, is it?

10. I guess you missed the "leftover" part....
As in, he ate what he wanted and sent them the scraps he didn't want.

13. I guess you missed the TV news report.
It clearly showed brand-new boxes of pizza being put in a car to take over there. They had ordered extra pizzas and they gave the extras away. That's not really "leftovers", is it?

Is he trying to prove he has the maturity of a 12 year old?

5. Obama should send Romney a truckload of flip-flops next time he goes to Cape Cod.
Gee, that Romney is so witty. I can't understand why every single republican thinks they can beat him.

20. My 6 year old daughter has more maturity then Mittens does. Pathetic and sad, really.
Republicans have no one. No one to compete with the adult that is Barack Obama.
