I really have to hand it to certain Democratic politicians including the president foremost in thanking them on their brilliant chess moves! Their erstwhile endeavors to appeal to the Republican voter are finally paying off. I have been watching the office Freep to monitor if our combination of capitulation to the right combined with a steady rightward movement and a appeasing their continual readjustment of the political compass is working and guess what???

I THINK WE'RE FINALLY WINNING THEM OVER TO VOTING FOR THEIR OWN SELF INTERESTS!!! I'M GOING TO ASK HIM WHAT HE THINKS OF BARACK OBAMA NOW!!!!

wait a moment...I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS REALLY WORKING!!!

...

...

...

Oh...wait a minute...not it's not. He still thinks were a bunch of Communist, Marxist, Fascist, Muslim Atheists and would never vote for us...especially Obama.

Never mind....

Such is my vanity...{fluttery hand motions!}

and if you think pointing out the obvious is vanity...then we are all due for a resurgence of a republican majority.

Oh well...at least I can hate them without self rightious dipshittery.

5. Hey I'm Canadian and I feel deep sorrow for the farce that socalled HCR is turning into

It's pretty clear from the antics of the Senate
and the President that Americans are being treated
by the Corporate Oligarchs the same way they treat
the people of South and Central America .... like
slaves to be exploited for their labour and denied
the fundamental security and benefits of a free
society.

I feel for you I really do

6. Well what the fuck do you want us to do about it.?

And you bitch about "Anti-Obama" vanity after the USA Bad whine as if every citzen here has everything to do with the status quo. Use the only thing that we have been allowed to control our political system? Voting?

Sure...we'll just vote for the opposing party so they stop and they will can that imperialism.

Oh shit we did. Oh shit they didn't. Oh shit...you smugly bitch about anti-Obama vanity out of one corner of your mouth and then bitch about Americans as a whole as if we all have control of anything that goes one here.

Oh shit and life has been so peachy for the rank and file American...as if we have anything to do with goes on in DC.

Should we protest? How can we do that? We can't even get time off from work. We stop working we can pay the bills?

But hell...if it helps boost your own nationalism...go for it!

7. You must chill brother. You didn't post the best thread on this topic as the dearth of replies

attests. I'm hardly waving the Canadian flag just
pointing out as I have an number of times that you
are fucked until you kick insurance companies and
their bought and paid for politicians, out of the
medical care business.

You can start by getting rid of the 60% super majority
rule in the senate, end filibustering and make it
against the law to accept campaign funding from large
corporate interests.

Individual contributions only with shorter and cheaper
campaign cycles.

There how's that for some practical ideas.
