They're going to have to run a lot of ads to counter the widespread disgust of their own party members after this atrocity of a bill is signed by Obama. I don't see the ads doing much good, however.

Polls show a majority of Americans oppose the individual mandate. This is a terrible piece of legislation, and the Democratic Party will (rightly) be punished for it by the electorate if it passes.

Kill the bill.

Forcing people to buy insurance is no more the answer to a failed health care system than forcing people to buy houses is the solution to homelessness.
