1. It's so sad, dear Tx4Obama.
You work so hard to defend him. It's sad to me that you have to. Bless your heart. I have all kinds of problems with Obama but I respect your opinions and I try to read them with an open mind. I have pretty much soured on him but I would love more than I can say to find a reason to believe in him again.

15. No doubt - with some condescension mixed in.
Why is it that where the most virulent detractors seem to inevitably go when people refuse to see things their way?

12. "Bless his heart" = ignorant, pitiful, sad, naive, or terminally ill.
None of which resemble Obama.

What's important is the participation.

13. Or you can just wait and see it in real time,
and witness how it affects your family, and the family of those you
must obviously care about so much!

Than perhaps, when it's too late, you will realize that it wasn't a bumper sticker message
that was going to make the difference, but how much you were willing to work to save yourself
from a reality that could really happen.

Read and understand, it ain't about a campaign, it's about life and death and nothing short of it: http://joewo.com/WordPress/?p=9293

14. I'm on your side.
Edited on Tue Sep-06-11 04:03 AM by JohnnyRingo
I'm somewhat more than casually enthused about getting the president re-elected.
With nary a penny nor candidate to show, and one year left, I don't take those here seriously when they speak of a primary challenge. I also strongly disapprove of people using this forum to pander notions of complacency in 2012.

There will be an Obama 2012 sticker on my bumper throughout next year.

On edit: I should have pointed out my sarcastic tone in the original reply.
