Jon Stewart mocks Speechgate, slams media for manufactured crisis

Pretty much sums up how stupid this whole thing is. I think Obama should have kept it at Wednesday and just changed venue, but it really is not that big of a deal. This has been WAY overblown, for no reason at all.

1. He nailed it. There was no grand struggle or huge cave in or any of that nonsense.
You'd think Republicans and Democrats have enough real disagreements without the media and the keyboard warriors working together to create fake ones out of nontroversy.

The President said, "I'd like to speak on Wednesday." Boehner said, "Wednesday's not good. I respectfully invite you to come speak to us on Thursday." The President said, "Ok. Thursday it is. See you then."

What was the big deal?

7. Those questions from the press were beyond stupid.
"How can the President fix the economy of he can't schedule a speech?" Carny should have replied, "Sorry, my Momma taught me not to abide a fool. Next question."
