3. I heard on NPR today that the GOP is confident about controlling Congress in 2012.

Said they've already got the votes to keep the house and Repub seats in the Senate aren't in question, only Democrats.
All they need is to grab the presidency and they'll have the whole ball game to themselves.

So you know that means they will be playing dark and dirty all the way through.
It's going to be hard to defeat.
Not because they will have the votes necessarily but the the final vote tally may surprisingly come out in their favor.

And I'm having my mum move to Paris with me and my sister is thinking of relocating to London. So I completely understand what you mean.
