The Texas Forensic Science Commission seems to have decided that an opinion from the Texas attorney general this year essentially halts its investigation into allegations that Cameron Todd Willingham was wrongfully executed on Gov. Rick Perry's watch.

Best post after article:

So, according to the Texas AG's office, the State Forensics Commission can only investigate cases that occurred after 2005, and Willingham was executed in Feb. 2004. How convenient for Gov. Perry's presidential campaign that dead men can now tell no tales.
