5. He said that it would be considered in the DEFICIT talks with Republicans.
But we never heard what the offer was to Republicans, and what Republicans countered.

So, to be fair, we don't really know. And if it was in the offer, we don't know WHAT the terms would've been. Just an increase in taxes, as he said long ago would be HIS solution for Social Security longterm, or did it include other things, as well? We just don't know.

I'm sure you want to be fair.

2. Your post is REFUDIATED by the article you cite:
"During talks with House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) this past summer, President Barack Obama had discussed changing the way that Social Security benefits were paid so that a lower level of benefits were paid over time. Boehner walked away from that deal, which was part of a much broader package, because of concern over a corresponding tax increase. Now, Obama is putting off support for that idea of changing the inflation formula of Social Security to chained consumer price index (CPI)."

OY GEVALT! Open your eyes! Obama is not your baby child you have to protect with your life! He's not!!!

Is Rep. John Conyers full of it, too?

'The Republicans, Speaker Boehner or Majority Leader Cantor, did not call for Social Security cuts in the budget deal. The president of the United States called for that,” Conyers said at a news conference held by the Out of Poverty Caucus, which he co-chairs. “ And my response to him is to mass thousands of people in front of the White House to protest this,” Conyers said.'

4. Social Security exists ... the GOP hates it .... therefore it is ALWAYS on the table.
Or did Obama put it on the table when Bush tried to Privatize it?

When Grover Norquist and Dick Armey attacked it in the 90s?

Or when Ryan did his recent bill?

It exists. The GOP hates it. Its on the table.

Period.
