In the recent painful past Mr. Nader ran on a third party platform not a Democratic Party Candidate. That he wants to now find no less than six candidates to run against Obama in the Democratic Party (which he is not a part of the Party) sounds to me as the height of megalomaniac arrogance. Nader's entire approach has turned into promotion of opposition in the Democratic Party to do what make third party candidates viable. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANY OF THE REPUBLICAN FIELD ANYWHERE NEAR THE WHITEHOUSE! With this threat I could care less about third Party candidates promoting any agenda.

To me Ralph Nader has all of relevance of his new best friend Sarah Palin so far the biggest attention whore in the 21st Century. Obama has had his problems I like his new tone on taxes. If someone wants to fix the political system do it on another election cycle not now when we face Republican Radicals who border on resurgent fascism.

That's much more responsible than running as a third-party spoiler, maybe Nader's growing up and becoming more pragmatic in his age.

A healthy internal debate never hurt anyone, reminds candidates about the issues the base cares about.

Of course, he'll probably only garner less than 10% of the votes -- really, unless the economy really deteriorates much further, Obama is a shoo-in.

Sarah Palin makes one anti corporate statement an she is now praised by Nader. Nader's interest is not the Democratic Party or even debate.
