Lee Greenwood and Prez Obama videos

I was at my wives citizenship oath ceremony in
Los Angeles today. They played 2 videos as part of the ceremony, one was the President's boilerplate "welcome to the us speech" and the other was a music video of Lee Greenwood and God bless the USA. I have no problem with it... But thought it was odd. And btw... In a majority immigrant family audience the music video garnered 2x the applause of the Obama video

It seemed odd that they'd play a commercial music video rather than maybe a video of the USMC band or smthg.

The highlight may have been the USDC judge presiding over the ceremony. I forgot his name but he's a Hispanic man from immigrant grandparents, REAL American fairy tale. I liked him a lot.

6. I recall an incident where war veterans walked out of a Lee Greenwood concert

because he went to Canada to avoid the Vietnam conflict.
