TPM: AP: Third Woman Complains of Harassment from Herman Cain
Third Woman Complains of Harassment from Herman Cain

BENJY SARLIN
NOVEMBER 2, 2011, 4:18 PM

A third unnamed woman now claims she was harassed by Herman Cain while an employee at the National Restaurant Association, according to an Associated Press report.

The story offers few details, however: the woman in question says that Cain made sexually suggestive remarks and gestures, commented on her attractiveness, and invited her alone up to a corporate apartment.

Cain has repeatedly hinted at the possibility of future accusers since the initial Politico report on his sexual harassment complaint first surfaced on Sunday evening.

1. Makes Rand Paul look like the complete doofus he is, a dodo who doesn't
accept that some men who have power (hire/fire/promote) over women sometimes use that power for sexual advantage. Doofus, such as this is not joking:what a dodo. :patriot:

2. There's more. Political Consultant Saw Cain Harassment.

Consultant Saw Cain Harassment

Oklahoma political consultant Chris Wilson tells KTOK that he was at a restaurant when Herman Cain sexually harassed a staffer.

Said Wilson: "It was only a matter of time because so many people were aware of what took place, so many people were aware of her situation, the fact she left -- everybody knew with the campaign that this would eventually come up."

Wilson said for legal reasons, he can not discuss details of the incident. "But if she comes out and talks about it, like I said, it'll probably be the end of his campaign."

Update: A reader notes Wilson does polling for a Super PAC backing Rick Perry's presidential bid.

3. Oh Lord. Drip....Drip...Drip....
Rove isn't playing anymore. Like Michelle Bachmann, Cain was an amusing sideshow for a while, but this is getting serious now.

5. He made a pass at a woman.
Sounds like she said no and he backed off. Big deal.

Politics in the USA is idiotic.

6. I know many here on DU have already convicted Cain...
And his behavior does not help his cause but all we know right now is basically what you said.

However, I honestly think an African American as the front runner in the Republican Primaries is too much for many Republicans to stomach! Like Bill Maher said the Republican Party will not allow a "Black Man" to be their nominee!

7. Except Cain is leading in the national polls and in some of the early primary states
It is the Republican establishment who do not want an unqualified Herman Cain as their nominee--Rick Perry, either. They want Mitt Romney as their standard bearer.

8. Steph and Chris had it pegged just right Monday...
...when they played that quote of Cain saying that if any more accusations came to light they would be made up. They were right, it was not if, rather it was when.
