Why the hell would someone who has so many skeletons in his closet, who has no clue about world affairs (hard to believe the GOP could find someone more clueless than Palin) decide to run for President?

6. I disagree...

I think any of the serious GOP contenders (Jeb, Christi, etc) are all waiting until '16. They KNOW that even if they were to beat Romney in the Primary (tough), beat Obama in the general (tougher) then they're still faced with a trainwreck of an economy, a war in afghanistan, a mess of a healthcare system, and a rediculously divided Senate & Congress.

Basically, if they win now, they still lose, 'cause there is no way to quickly fix this mess. They're better off waiting 4 more years for Obama to fix many things, then not be elgible to run again and try to steal it away then and claim success from '16 - '20.

Add to that, the fact that a few states deadlines have already passed.. and I really think we're looking at Romney in the General. Not because the Teabaggers want him, but because no one else can stand up for more then 30 days without imploding on their own stupidity.

As Herman Cain’s sexual-harassment controversy enters its fourth day, the Republican campaign seems to be spending less time addressing the questions and more time in a desperate search to find someone to blame.

First, the accusations were the media’s fault. Then it was liberals’ fault. Then it was racists’ fault. By late yesterday, it was Rick Perry’s fault.

At this point, I’m not even sure why this part of the blame game matters anymore. Politico reported that Cain was accused of sexual harassment, and regardless of who first tipped the reporters off to the allegations, Cain really was accused of sexual harassment. Blaming the media, liberals, racists, and/or Perry doesn’t change the underlying facts, nor does it explain why Cain’s version of events has changed so dramatically over the course of a couple of days.

Wildly pointing fingers is absurd. If Cain’s accusers are lying, then they’re to blame; if Cain sexually harassed those women, then he’s to blame. He either committed these misdeeds or didn’t. What difference does it make who tipped off Politico?
