Newspaper and a right wing leaning polster..It does not say anything about the alternative..The TeaParty candidate..the Koch brother candidate for an alternative..There was something very similar to this map published by WSJ..
The economy,jobs etc etc,Obama loses..a very close election (even though Obama wins) Diebold wins it...
But for the alternative GOP candidate, voters will hold their nose and vote for Obama.

8. This map makes more sense. Larry Sabato is fair and unbiased and has excellent track record.

The biggest difference is WI, MI and PA. If those are actually swing states then O is in trouble. But I dont think they are. They most likely lean blue which has been verified in recent polling.

9. WI and Michigan are looking better every day for Obama and the Democrats.

Unless Obama looses in a landslide, he should carry Pennsylvania. The southeast/Philadelphia region should be able to carry him over the finish line for the states electoral votes.

14. The only issue in Pennsylvania is the eletoral vote split that was proposed

by republicans and supported by governor Corbett....But there hasn't been much talk since it was first proposed in Sept. and hopefully it will not pass, even some republicans are against it....

It was a plan basically to award the states electoral votes by district won instead of winner take all....There is even a scenario that Obama could win the state but get LESS electoral votes as he (or any Democrat) will only win 7-9 districts in the state....If this split were around in 2008, he won the state by 11%, but would have only gotten 11/21 eletoral votes.....So its basically a way to hand the GOP candiate electoral votes in a state he'll likely lose, as PA has gone blue in presidential elections since 1992...

7. The bottom line is Romney or Perry vs Obama....

Are you prepared to see a either one of them as President? If not then start supporting Obama. It's sad our electoral system boils down to these choices but it is... what it is.

11. The bottom line is many "always voters" will end up defaulting to Obama

But in the mean time things will be weird. I believe he will be re-elected but it will be quite close. Perhaps coming down to making sure a state like "Ohio" or "Florida" is not stolen from him.
