The Next President Will Be Barack Obama Or Willard Romney
I think George Will wrote a column awhile back that the next president will be Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, or Tim Pawlenty. I think he's right.

None of the other clowns running for the GOP nomination can beat Barack Obama. Willard Romney is a deeply flawed candidate but he is the best candidate they have. I think Barack Obama will beat Willard Romney. I know he will beat any of the other clowns running for the Republicant nomination.

1. John Huntsman is their "best" candidate - doesn't mean most electable though
He's the most rational of the bunch, which means the teabaggers will have nothing to do with him.

4. Huntsman is in the wrong party.

You can't believe in Science and be a Republican, unless you are a flip flopping lier with no core like Mitt Romney.

8. Agreed. I stand corrected.

To my credit, its hard to keep track of all the flip flops regarding the core of Mitt Romney.

3. Careful, you might be accused of using scare tactics.
The homeless lefties here will point out that a third party presidency is possible.

Boehner bleaching his skin is also a possibility....but it ain't gonna happen.

7. Even if there was such a thing, that President could do
absolutely nothing, since Congress would still be made up of Ds and Rs.

12. He Made It Close Enough To Steal
None of the current cast of clowns could make it that close, save Romney.

"Romney's policies are VERY similar to Obama's."

..."VERY similar," do you mean completely different?

Romney’s Estate Tax Cut Would Save The Koch Brothers Up To $8.7 Billion Each

Romney Proposes to Privatize Medicare

"He also will not be a scary candidate and a lot of Obama's voters will stay home."

Since you perceive them as "VERY similar," who are you voting for: Romney or Obama?

15. He Is The Only One In The Field That Can Beat Obama But It's By No Means A Certainty
Edited on Sat Nov-05-11 04:12 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
It's still to early to say. Tell me what Barack Obama's approval rating is on 11/6/12 and I will tell you who the next POTUS is.

And, no, Romney is to the right of Obama on every issue of importance.
