I have touched on this before - the emphasis on "gaffes," gotcha questions and time devoted to trivial nonsense - and everyone knows the process only became further detached from relevance this week as the media published anonymous, ancient, vague personal allegations against me.

Speaking of vague, Herman Cain will hold a press conference later this afternoon to explain his behavior. He vows to "set the record straight." We'll see.

Maybe he'll explain why he initially lied and kept on lying about the settlements.

He can't simpy whitewash sexual harrassment/assault charges away as "gotcha" and "trivial nonsense" after it's clear that there were payoffs (by his own admission).
