Poll question: Will this SCOTUS strike down the Mississippi 'Personhood' Amendment and...
...will the Pro-Life community Finally realize that the majority Republican SCOTUS is not on their side.

I believe that the 'Personhood' vote will be successful and will go to SCOTUS.

1. They are bound by precedent here.....
I seriously doubt the Supreme Court will let the Personhood Amendment stand unless they limit it in some way. The Amendment will make abortion illegal. The Court has a long history of decisions regarding abortion beginning with Roe v. Wade. We have seen in the past 10 years especially a number of limitations on abortion be upheld by the Court including parental notification provisions. But I seriously doubt the Court will undo nearly 40 years of its own jurisprudence. But they could exclude from its application matters related to birth control for which the Court also has a long history of precedents and abortion. That would eviscerate the whole reason the Xtians pushed the Amendment in the first place.
