Rick Perry: ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy ‘worked very well’
GOP presidential hopeful Rick Perry said on Tuesday that the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy affecting gay members of the military, which was repealed last year, “worked very well.” He also accused President Obama of repealing the 18-year-old law to pan to his political base.

“A president of the United States changing a policy that was working well and to do it while we were at war in two different theaters, I think it was irresponsible and I truly think that he did it to respond to his political base,” Perry said.

The Texas governor was among the Republican candidates being interviewed Tuesday as part of a joint venture between ABC News and Yahoo. He spoke with “This Week” host Christiane Amanpour from his home in Texas.

“I think the idea that the president of the United States wanted to make a political statement using our men and women in the military as the tool for that was irresponsible,” Perry told ABC News.

2. This Is Why I Ovelook All Obama's Flaws
His victory next November is a moral imperative. He is the gatekeeper keeping the barbarians out.

3. Yah.
Congress is what matters, in any case, but you have to vote, and vote for the best choice.

5. Isn't he executing people left and right in Texas regardless of questionable evidence to 'pan' to
his base?

6. Rick Perry could be GAY!!
I do not know why I say this & I know it is wrong but there is a pattern to pretty boys on the right who are so anti-gay.
