3. What, are you saying this is some kind of elaborate premeditated plan conspired by the Illuminati?
No, actually, Republicans really are that stupid, and so are many Americans, so one of these candidates still might win.

6. Ok, I'm willing to entertain the notion. If that's the case then I'm on
...the side of the PTB.

But really, just in the slight chance that maybe there is no all powerful force running things, I would still encourage people to vote for Democrats. Because on the face of things, Republicans are fascists that need to be totally ousted.

8. This just reflects my misunderstanding of the process
I assume that anyone with an R after their name is evil, when it comes to politics. Guilty by association. But, the more popular viewpoint is that Republicans and Democrats will always be the two parties in government. I can't tolerate the idea of Republicans being in control. Their reputation is too tainted. There is nothing redeeming about their political philosophy. I'd take a bad Democrat over the best Republican.

A Democrat is likely to appeal to popular opinion even if it is wrong. A Republican is only interested in the most greedy and selfish opinion. Anyone who isn't greedy and selfish is ignored by Republicans. I do not want even the best Republican in government. Republicans need to go altogether.

I'm obviously naive.

Now we know why. Perry should have taken his handler's advice to get one but he is too cocky.

15. I Think Perry's Given Up
Even he can't think he has a chance anymore. But his ego is preventing him from doing the decent thing - for himself, his party and his family - and quitting. In dragging it out like this, however, he seems to be liberated from his need to impress anyone anymore. He's sort of out there saying whatever comes into his head, however he feels like it, and stumbling all over the place as a result. Kind of like a hapless right wing version of Bulworth.

Add this dynamic to the antics of Herman Cain and the whole Republican primary is begining to look like one giant reality T.V. show.
