This H. Cain NRA episode is over.
It has run its course. It will resurface with legs only if he makes it to the General Election.

13. He is still leading in Iowa, SC, Ohio and Florida.
So I don't think this hurt him politically, at least not as far as the GOP primary is concerned.

2. Nope
Group press conference still coming.

Hermy (R) has plenty to keep him squirmy.

There are a lot more women, I bet.

5. I Don't See It Now
Edited on Fri Nov-11-11 12:53 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
It would be like kicking a dead horse. The whole purpose of the exercise (joint news conference of his victims) was to air the charges that demonstrate he lacks the character to be president. It isn't an issue now because his campaign is flailing and he has no chance of being president.

And this from someone who has been all over this story.

8. Wasn't there supposed to be proof? Recordings or something?
Or is that what's going to come up at the next joint news conference?

Unless there is some kind of videotape or tape recording, this is still, to the die-hard Republican fans, just a he said/she said thing.

So it won't have legs except to DU'ers.

But, yeah the dead enders would defend Cain even if there were video.

10. It may or may not be over. Regardless, Cain is finished as a candidate.
He may stumble along but he will never get enough delegates to win the nomination. This scandal is only a small part of it. He was going nowhere before the scandal and he is still going nowhere.

I don't know what they do at Free Republic. He had become their savior.

12. The Republicon Rot at Penn State also reflects on Hermy
since all this hateful crap is based on their depraved Republicon Family Values - disrespect for women, disrepect for children. I mean, Holy Shit. The Republicons have crapped massively in their own diapers, and every American can smell it.

17. I think it's generally seen as part of the Republicon Stinkpot of Values
...since it is in fact part and parcel of the Republicon Stinkpot of Values.

The various Republicon sex & piggery & abuse & harassment & child rape scandals -- whatever -- reverberate and reinforce each other and the public understanding of what Republiconism is really all about.

that his standing among women in Iowa has gone down 8 points. Extrapolate that and that is real damage.
