It's Newt or Perry v Romney. Forget Huntsman. Here's 9 reasons:
1. He is a Mormon
2. He worked in the Obama administration as an ambassador to China
3. He believes in science
4. He believes in evolution.
5. He has not taken an anti-immigrant or anti-Hispanic stance.
6. He seems to think Obama is an American citizen.
7. He does not claim that God told him to run for president.
8. He supported civil unions as Governor of Utah
9. He would not use federal powers to block a law legalizing same-sex marriage in New York

Romney also fits some of these, but is only in the lead now because of early money and organization. Crazy wins it for the republicans.

1. yes... as much as I would hate any RETHUG in the WH...
Huntsman is far preferable to any of those idiots. So that rules him out in the primaries--obviously. Crazy, corrupt, hypocritical (and lecherous) generally wins the RETHUGS over.

2. I still can't figure out why the guy is a Republican, but then I never
figured that out with Chuck Hagel either.

3. Huntsman just isn't wacky enough
to win the Repuke nomination.

He should run as an independent and set himself up for the next time.

5. As I've long maintained
If you're a Repuke, why have Romney-lite when you can have the real thing?

He he peaks in early January and takes Iowa, he will be HEAVILY favored to take South Carolina too.

7. He's also the best Governor Utah has had since Scott Matheson...
Make no mistake, he's still very much a Republican, but on more than one occasion he interceded to prevent the worst excesses of the radical right-wing fringe that controls so much of Utah life. Frankly, Obama did the people of Utah a disservice by removing him from office, but it was even worse for the people in my other home, Arizona.

8. You contradicted yourself with your very first reason (He is a Mormon)
In your title, you say "It's Newt or Perry v Romney." Guess what Romney is.
