He starts out claiming he doesn't recall anything. And then over the next few days, he begins to recount all kinds of details.

Then claims he doesn't recall one of the women, and boom, here's a photo of him with her. "Oh her!"

And then, he points out that he had told his staff about these things months ago when he started his campaign. And they thought it was no big deal.

So the settlements did occur. He recalled them months ago, told his staff ... and then he forgot about them when the media brought it up ... and then re-remembered it, with lots of detail.
