Another Poll Has Gingrich Leading
The latest Economist/YouGov poll shows Newt Gingrich leading the Republican presidential race nationally with 23%, followed closely by Herman Cain at 21% and Mitt Romney at 19%.

The remainder of the field is far back: Ron Paul at 7%, Rick Perry at 6%, Michele Bachmann at 5%, Jon Huntsman at 5%, Rick Santorum at 2% and Gary Johnson at 1%.

3. Who? Gingrich? The guy Freddie Mac paid $1.6 mil to and then
didn't listen to him when he 'told them they were going to crash the economy'? Or maybe they paid him to get a $1.6 mil history lesson? Isn't this the guy who said he would "impose a no-fly zone in Libya, TONIGHT" and then a few days later after no-fly was put in place he said "I wouldn't have done that"? Isn't he the guy that was cheating on his first wife and filed for divorce while she was being treated for cancer, was cheating on his second wife and filed for divorce after she was diagnosed with MS? Isn't he the guy that was fined $300,000 for lying to congressional ethics investigators? Isn't he the guy whose entire campaign staff walked? Isn't he the guy that was FOR the individual mandate, the Fairness Doctrine, and action on Global Warming before he was against them?

4. Who the hell cares anymore?
They're passing the baton from 1 womanizer to another. It quite pathetic whats going on with the GOP. None of them have a prayer in hell of winning.

6. Gary Johnson - wow I'm amazed he was even acknowledged
a pro-choice, anti-war republican who is for legalizing marijuana - can't be having that kind of choice.

8. I had to figure this out for myself
And where best to go to? The enemy camp.

Turned on Hannity on the way home, and it seems that the religious types are buying the "I'm a different man since I truly found religion," line. It gets them every time, so it makes sense that he would be "not perfect, but forgiven."

Romney just can't get away with that kind of bullshit as long as he still pretends to be a Mormon.

10. I love the idea that he's the face of the modern Republican party
I hope he gets the nomination. With his beachball sized head, inflated ego, and bad temper, he's going to be fun to watch.
