1. Please include Richard Mellon Scaife as a nominee.
He was way ahead of this pack.

3. How about these?
David Rockefeller - Although he seems to stay out of the limelight, I believe he has a huge influence through the CFR and Trilateral Commission.

Henry Kissinger - "The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer."

Zbigniew Brzezinski - "People, governments and economies of all nations must serve the needs of multinational banks and corporations."

4. Koch's or Murdoch.
I'll go with Murdoch because the Koch's success with launching the tea baggers relied heavily on Murdoch's support.

5. I am convinced that if Murdoch did not have the power he has,
America would not be in such dire straits. The Fox-ification of cable news led to a complacent, ridiculously tabloidish version of infotainment to replace serious journalism. And of course, we all know that Fox and those it employs has misled a HUGE number of Americans, directly or indirectly.

Without him, things would not be the way they are right now.
