I volunteered to be the point person for Mitt at the caucus here in my hometown in Iowa. I will do the same for Newt if he asks.
I must fit their profile. Plus I always change parties when Terry Branstad is running for governor just to vote against him. The next day I always change back.

I hope Mitt depends on me, because I will be across town chairing the Democratic caucus at that time.
It is the least I could do for Mitt.

2. LOL. We got rid of our home phone. Now just have cell phones. That is going to severely cut back on
all the calls I get from Newt & Mitt & Michelle ... I had already been getting them because my husband is registered as a Republican.

I'm, of course, a registered Democrat who votes in the caucuses and all elections so we get all the Dem calls too.

The only calls I'll miss is getting surveyed. That certainly wont be happening as often now although I know all the good polling firms are trying to pick up the cell phone people (who poll more pro-Dems).

Sometimes, after "a person" donates to Democratic organizations or people, someone calls to confirm the donation. These calls can be unhelpful if "a person" does not want to advertise their donations. This is the type of issue solved by everyone only having a cell phone ... or so I've heard. :)
