TPM: DNC Runs New 'Mitt vs. Mitt' Ad in Swing States
DNC Runs New ‘Mitt vs. Mitt’ Ad In Swing States

BENJY SARLIN NOVEMBER 28, 2011, 9:26 AM 2350 47

Democrats are escalating their attacks on Mitt Romney’s history of flip flops, running a new ad in several swing states that highlights his shifts on abortion and health care.

The new spot “Trapped,” takes the form of a movie trailer for “the story of two men trapped in one body,” and is running in New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Washington DC.

In a lucky break for Democrats, the ad will air right as news of another major Romney flip — on immigration — takes center stage in the race. The Massachusetts governor recently slammed Newt Gingrich at a debate for supporting “amnesty” for illegal immigrants who have deep ties to America, but he’s on the record in 2006 and 2007 parrotting essentially the same position.

1. I'm assuming it 's running in DC for the benefit of Virginia voters?
because DC certainly isn't a 'swing state'.

3. I wonder if this is because the DNC thinks Romney is the inevitable nominee or..
because they think he might be the most competitive of those running and want him lose.

4. Wow
That is a devastating ad.

It is great that reality has a liberal bias.
