Question about Michele Bachmann's status please.

Since she's apparently in "flame-out" and her bid for the presidency appears doomed for failure...what will be her status as a Representative when the dust settles?

3. You can run for both. Lieberman did so when he ran for VP with Gore.

My guess though is that she'll get kicked from the GOP primaries so early that she'd be able to run for her House seat. But if she is up for re-election, I'd be surprised if she could win.

I'd also heard rumors that she might decide to run for Senate, but I don't think she can get sufficient support state wide.

9. It may depend on when she needs to get on the ballot for her seat

and whether she can run for two seats simultaneously. (In MA, in 2008, Kerry would have had to chose to rerun as Senator or run for President. He could not do both - even though his Senate seat was very safe.)
