These authors miss the point. We know Mittens only too well. He considers corporations to be people. He wants foreclosures to continue apace so that "investors" can rent them out. He is the social misfit who makes lame jokes about being "unemployed." He is the corporate raider who has spent his career plundering companies and destroying jobs. His record as governor of MA was not exactly stellar. I think we know all we need to know. So Romney loves his family. Fine. So did Al Capone.

1. This reads like a fucking love letter. Not critical or objective whatsoever, but that's Gergen.
I never could stand him, even when he made sense every once in awhile...

3. This is what apologists do
Regarding vile and deplorable individuals. Especially in this country where the MSM will never call out politicians as worthy of moral condemnation. They talk about how their dog loves them, or they once gave their father a birthday present.

Basically, because someone somewhere cares about a person, well, then....they must not be a really bad guy, right?
