Kucinich: Is Obama Stumbling Into War With Iran?
Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) on Monday questioned whether the Obama administration was trying to provoke Iran into an armed conflict.

The Iranian government claimed on Sunday that it had shot down a RQ-170 Sentinel — a U.S. high-altitude reconnaissance drone — that had flown into Iran’s eastern airspace.

The Pentagon later said the drone had malfunctioned and gone missing over western Afghanistan late last week, and denied it was shot down.

“If the American claims that the drone drifted into Iran after a mechanical malfunction are true, it serves as further evidence that our presence in Afghanistan is destabilizing the region,” Kucinich said in a statement. “Technical and mechanical malfunctions are a fact of life and exacerbated by the harsh conditions of the Afghan terrain. As long as the United States continues to operate in Afghanistan the unintended results of our actions will continue to destabilize the region.”

5. "The results of our actions will continue to destabilize the region."
So, not our actual actions, but the results of them, will do the destabilizing?

Also, "destabilizing" Central Asia is like saying someone's ruining a Justin Bieber concert.

7. Maybe he can get another guest slot on Fox News and ask.
He and Issa can surely find SOME grounds for impeachment if they try...

8. It's sad that they're forcing Kucinich to make the hard choice here.
I wouldn't mind if just a few other people in the Party did the same.

13. Hey Kucinich
Don't you have better things to do, like singing the praises of Syria's butcher, Asad? Or isn't there some other thug whose ass you'd like to go kiss?

I doubt they shot it down. I think it's more likely it crashed and they have some mangled wreckage.

Plus it really doesn't seem like we were deliberately over their air space.
