Presidential Race Hurting Republicans

A new Pew Research poll finds that as the fight for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination unfolds, more Americans say their impression of the GOP field is worsening than improving.

By a margin of two-to-one, 31% say that their impression of the GOP field is getting worse as they learn more about the candidates
, while 14% says it's getting better. Another 50% say their impression remains the same.

6. From your keyboard to God's monitor, Amen!
From your keyboard to God's monitor, Amen! What worries me is that so many of the people who voted in 2008 and then sat out the 2010 elections will once again choose to stay home and hand their city, their state, and the whole country over to the Republican Party by default.

9. I hope not
but I worry about that too. The one thing though that might make a difference next year has been the rise of OWS and the effect it's already had on changing some of the discussion in Washington regarding income inequality. Even the Republicans are starting to feel the heat as evidenced by Frank Luntz's need to try to spin away the attacks on the 1%. If OWS can encourage people to get to the polls and help elect more "99% friendly" politicians, then that should bode well for all of us.

Dog and pony show that is and will continue to hurt the GOP! It's not only disgusting to watch, it's just out right embarrassing! Could we be anymore of the laughing stock of the world?

5. This is what happens when you get the right-winger agenda raw and unfiltered.
The media does it's best to repackage their inanity but when people hear it straight from their mouths, they can't help but wonder "wtf?!"

12. Gingrich is our dream come true. He's the gift that just keeps giving.
The more face time he gets on tv, the more despondent the GOP faithful will become.
