Most Americans say President Obama understands people better
Edited on Mon Jan-30-12 03:52 PM by Divine Discontent
this would be because people see him as a human, as opposed to Mitt seeming like a creepy Frankenstein-robot! but that's just my opinion.
-------------------------------
Most Americans say President Barack
Obama understands the problems of
average Americans better than either Mitt
Romney or Newt Gingrich do, according to a
new poll Monday.
More than half of voters, or 55 percent, say
Obama connects with the needs of average
Americans very or fairly well, a Pew
Research Center/Washington Post poll
found. Still, 41 percent told pollsters the
president doesn’t understand people’s
problems too well or not at all well. The
two Republican candidates, however, fare
much worse: only 39 percent say Romney
understands the problems of average
Americans very or fairly well, and just 36
percent say the same for Gingrich.

2. He doesn't understand people
He understands the electorate. The people he should understand/try to understand are the poor, the unemployed, the homeless. He doesn't seem to care about them at all. When was the last time he visted a tent city? When has he tried to figure out why people are unemployed, and make an effort to remedy the causes? Never. Instead, he sucks up to Jeffrey Immelt and corporate America and Wall Street, and siphons as much campaign loot from them as he can. And he is constantly sucking up to the military, making appearance after appearance before them, trying to wrap himself up in the military uniform. And now he lets the possibilty of war with Iran just sit out there, scaring the hell out of people, for no damn reason. Contrary to what he told us in the campaign, where he said he was going to use diplomacy with Iran. Another lie.

What is it that is "human" about him, beyond appearances that he is promoting?

5. I won't dispute anything you stated! well said... I wish he would visit a large tent city.
He does mention the income disparity, so that's good, I just hope that really understands that the SOB GOP doesn't give a damn about doing anything to help this country with him in power, and he fights amazingly hard for the people this year...

Get it now, or one of a million other designs!

4. People used to talk about "Who would you rather have a beer with?"
Republican candidates for President often passed that test over Democratic candidates.

6. Well,...he's the best we've got...and gives speeches people find inspiring.
That goes a long way to give folks out there some sense that there's someone competent in charge.

We shall see...
