Maybe Romney is kind of a Trojan Horse of the Republican Party
Maybe I smoke way too much opium, but it seems to me that Mittens is there as a ringer... the first, expendable, stage of a rocket, if you like. He's there to soak up the oily residue from the Bush administration and droop right before the GOP Convention. Come to think of it, maybe a "damp squib" would be a better metaphor - him being deliberately designed to limply fizzle out in his dna stained magic underwear right before the true climax -- when in comes "the one".

If my opium is telling me the truth, then, Romney's about to take a big fall in favor of a new, shiny unknown candidate who will be shooed in at the convention. Someone with almost no history, and therefore total political Teflon. My "sources say" (the voices in my head and the mouse in my pocket) that one faction is going to be strongly behind Ron Paul, who's been stacking up pesky ideological extremist delegates in every key state like pancakes on a Republican's plate at a Las Vegas free breakfast buffet.

The FUN question, as I see it, is who's going to do for Republicans what Obama did for the Democratics? Or perhaps more accurately, who is it that THEY THINK will be their Barack Obama? We know it's not Mittens - we simply cannot have a president of this country named something as stupid as "Willard Mittens" - this is America, not Monty Fucking Python.

So a question for you.... what/who do you think is going to be the GOP's attempt to grab a golden ticket in November? Ron Paul? Really Romney?? Really?

1. If they waited until November
to spring Ron Paul on the electorate I think they could win the election.
