The Cons may yet rue the day they muscled the Paul people out at the convention

2. I'm all for it as well.
Republicans, it's your patriotic duty to write in Ron Paul.

After all, Libertarians are just like you, except they oppose defense spending as well as social safety nets.

And, right now, you're all against mid-East wars as well, because your boy is no longer the one starting them.

Mitt does not have a prayer--and, if he did, it would be the wrong prayer in your eyes anyway.

So, Ron Paul is your perfect candidate right now. By joining with the Paulytes, you just may defeat one of the two major Parties for the first time in a very long time.

So, don't waste your vote on a sure loser.

Go for it! Try to make history.

3. I'm not too certain this will benefit Obama
as much as one would think.

As difficult as it might be to believe, there are many voters that would drop Obama in favor of Paul. It's the Paul stance on the military industrial complex and marijuana that appeals to a number of crossover voters. But, overall, I think it is a big minus for the Romney campaign. Of course that is just my opinion and I have been wrong before(seldom).

4. Ron Paul is the best Republican in the field.
Even though he is clearly just Perot's forgotten love-child.

5. I don't know. I've always seen Libertarians as Republicans'chntzier sister.
They're both "starve the beast" parties, but Libertarians don't even want to spend on "defense."

Oh, and some Libertarians are pro-pot.

I think a lot of them say they are kin to "peacenik" Democrats in the hopes of siphoning off voters from both parties. However, "I don't want to be taxed" is not a sane foreign policy.

And Democrats want peace to avoid carnage, but these are the people who applaud sick people being left to die because they could not afford health insurance.

feh.

6. DINGDINGDING!
winner winner chicken dinner

moderate on social issues brother who always votes Democratic because of right wing desire for war, backed Paul all last year and this year... said he wants to write in Paul. It will honestly take everything I am to get that not to happen, but I may not bother with expending the energy, as he's in Ohio. If Ohio's up by 6 points on last poll, I won't bother with the call. I can use the energy elsewhere in my life. But you are spot on! There's people on both sides who'd vote for him.
