"The Stench"

Larry O’Donnell has just reported a story in Politico by Roger Simon. The story is appalling in that Ryan, whose head is bigger than the bus he's stomping around, is stabbing Romney right between the shoulder blades and one wonders if a VP candidate can be dropped. Below is the relevant paragraph,

“Though Ryan had already decided to distance himself from the floundering Romney campaign, he now feels totally uninhibited. Reportedly, he has been marching around his campaign bus, saying things like, “If Stench calls, take a message” and “Tell Stench I’m having finger sandwiches with Peggy Noonan and will text him later.”

Then again, Ryan had a huge head start "stankwise."

I am hoping for Ryan's Congressional seat.

This is just like McCain's campaign unraveling, when his campaign people were planting stories about Caribou Barbie.

supposedly, this is all satire on the writer's part. It doesn't read that way! I think he got incredible push back from his bosses. I'm not reading it again to judge it's satirical value, but it wouldn't shock me one bit to think Romney's team calls Ryan names, and vice-versa.

There's no doubt Romney is unpopular even with Republicans, and his 'stench' must be washed away from their party once they, hopefully, lose.

As diminished as my enthusiasm is for Obama I can only imagine how the Republican rank and file feel about their candidates. They hope their hatred for Obama the Muslim socialist will save the day. And it might!

6. Okay, the article was satire. However, the author of the article did say that "the stench"

is a term the head of the state Republican Party used in connection with Romney, as in "the stench of the Romney campaign.

Sorry, I forgot the name of the state.
