Yeah, I'm proud of that. We tried 8 years of your Bushonomics.

15. No, I'm talking about TARP for the former
Edited on Wed Dec-23-09 04:12 PM by brentspeak
You do know what TARP is, don't you?

Here is Obama speaking on behalf of funneling hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to the banks who destroyed the entire financial system: http://metavid.org/wiki/Stream:Senate_proceeding_10-01-08_00/2:38:38/2:53:07

23. Get your facts straight. TARP was started by Bush II, not Pres. Obama, who added regs in 2/09.
Edited on Wed Dec-23-09 04:46 PM by ClarkUSA
Also, TARP is projected to be wrapped up about $200B under projected costs, mainly due to those regulations, which included
being paid back with 5% interest.

Maybe you should ask Johnny "Hedge Fund" Edwards what he thinks about it, since he's such a hero of yours.

24. I am a white male, ages 18-49, who owns guns, and eats red meat.
And I come from the only, ONLY, state left with an all Republican Congressional delegation (Wyoming). And whenever I hear the President speak, I get all giddy and excited. He's close to moving up pass Clinton on my personal presidential preference list, to #4! From there, it's only Theodore, Lyndon and Truman standing in his way.

25. He is a brilliant president, already easilly the
third progressive president ever, and it's only been 11 months. I don't care what the Right thinks about him, but for people from the left to not be able to appreciate what this man did, after inheriting the biggest shit-storm in 70 years - It's profoundly astonishing.

26. It really is and demonstrates just how short a memory most people have.
I mean, just one year ago: President George W. Fucking Bush. One year ago!!

Obama whether a 4 or 8 year Prez will go down as one of the best, if for nothing else, following Dumbya (like FDR following the Hoover/Coolidge/Harding Trifecta of Incompetency).

32. If Americans can contain their stupidity and give this man
8 years - then 20-30 years from now, Obama will be talked about in the same breath as FDR, LBJ and all those initials, and maybe even better.
