1. My appreciation goes to each and every one of them...
for standing up to both the fringe right and the fringe left to do what needed to be done to make life better for millions of Americans and accomplish something truly historic. Their courage will make tomorrow's debate on health care a far, far different from the one we've been having for the past 12 months.

2. The fringe left?
72% of America is fringe left?

(CBS) A clear majority of Americans -- 72 percent -- support a government-sponsored health care plan to compete with private insurers, a new CBS News/New York Times poll finds. Most also think the government would do a better job than private industry at keeping down costs and believe that the government should guarantee health care for all Americans.

5. 78% oppose a mandate.

This bill includes a mandate.

Ergo 78% oppose the primary feature of this bill.
