Is it true that the conference committee is meetiing behind closed doors in the west wing?
David Sirota talked about this during his radio show earlier but I'm not finding anything about it in a search. If I remember right he said that President Obama announced it.

Thanks in advance. I have so much to do today and if I turn on the tv I'll be a goner!

2. Yeah, I know. But I'd like to find out if it's true or not
It was so early and I don't trust my groggy memory from way early this morning. I figured DU would know for sure.

Hopefully, we could watch it on C-Span.

5. I've got a question about the conference committee
I presume that both parties will send representatives to the committee, is it fair to also presume that GOP members will try to "leak" things they know will kill the bill if enough time is allowed for them to get out there?

6. Reid and Pelosi will select the participants from their respective houses of Congress
So I doubt that any GOPers will be there.

Who they select could tell us a lot about how they want it to go.

8. It doesn't have to be
If it was open, we could watch it on C-Span.
